Privacy, plainly explained.

1. Who is responsible

Libertax International LTD (“Libertax”) is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. Privacy enquiries and rights requests can be sent to info@liber.tax.

2. Information we use

When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, the capacity in which you contact us, the type of matter, your summary and the language of the page. We also receive any information you choose to include in later correspondence.

To prevent abuse, the form creates one-way technical hashes derived from network and submission data. They are used only for rate limits and duplicate detection. Names, email addresses and message bodies are not stored in that protection database.

Plausible Analytics provides aggregate website statistics such as pages viewed, referral source, country and broad device or browser information. Libertax does not use this data to identify or profile individual visitors.

3. Why we use it

We use enquiry details to assess your request, respond and decide whether Libertax is an appropriate service provider. The relevant legal bases are steps taken at your request before a possible engagement, your consent where requested, and our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the business.

Technical form signals are used to keep the service secure and available. Aggregate analytics are used to understand website performance, language demand and successful enquiries. Analytics events never contain names, email addresses or message text.

4. Service providers and disclosures

Information may be processed by providers that support website hosting, secure form protection and business email, and by Plausible for aggregate analytics. We may also disclose information to professional advisers or public authorities where necessary or legally required.

We do not sell personal information and do not provide it to advertising networks.

5. Retention and international processing

Rate-limit and duplicate-detection records expire automatically, normally between 30 minutes and 24 hours. Enquiries and related correspondence are kept only for as long as reasonably needed to assess the matter, manage a possible relationship, establish or defend legal claims, and meet legal or professional obligations.

If you separately confirm in the website chat that you want an enquiry passed to our team, the resulting structured enquiry record and evidence of that confirmation are retained for no more than 24 months when the matter does not progress into a client matter or another ongoing business relationship.

Libertax and its service providers may process information in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, the United Arab Emirates or other relevant locations. Where data protection law requires it, appropriate transfer safeguards are used.

6. Your rights

Depending on the applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or the competent authority where you live or work.

7. Cookies and browser storage

The website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. It stores only your chosen EN or ES value under libertax-language in local browser storage so the preference continues across pages and later visits. A separate session-only flag may avoid replaying the opening animation repeatedly. Neither value is a user identifier or is used for analytics, identification or cross-site tracking.

Because no non-essential cookies or advertising trackers are used, the website does not display a consent banner. This notice will be updated before any materially different tracking is introduced.

8. Virtual assistant

Website chat. We retain the conversation after applying automatic filters intended to hide certain sensitive data, together with minimal technical information such as approximate country, entry page and general device type, to respond, protect the service and improve its quality. The conversation and that technical information are deleted within six months.

Selecting Continue only opens the chat. It does not pass an enquiry to our team. If you later ask the assistant to do so, we ask you to confirm separately before a structured enquiry and evidence of that confirmation are recorded in Libertax OS for human review. Do not send passwords, bank details or sensitive documents.
